One puzzling thing is that Michele Voncken doesn't have any speaker wires at all coming out the back of the S910 in this demo...?

just to add to that DNJ . The same guy has composed his own original tracks using this lowly arranger.

close your eyes. forget it is an arranger you are hearing. Would you use this in a studio ?

I have heard many motif and M3 demos but nothing as clear and radio ready as this !

Well, you two guys already know my views on the mid-range S910...it has sounds from the Motif, and is an awesome little arranger.

Although some do not appreciate the light action, I really like it a lot.

It's certainly better than the synths I grew up on, and, although it's not as robust or semi-weighted like the Tyros2/3/4, I am not a hard player, and I'm very pleased with the key response.

A buddy of mine and I have done demos (with vocals) that were good enough to send to Nashville...just using the S910 with no outboard gear, other than a PC to burn the Wav file, recorded on the arranger, to a Cd.

Certainly, we all got by very well on far less, not that long ago.

Hi Donny, I started doing this a couple of years ago when new gear would come out. I would look up as many demos of my gear as I could find. And then I would learn how to do everything on these demos and then some. As a result, I am completely at home with my rig and I'm constantly adjusting on the fly. I cam make all of my arrangements sound as classy or as kick ass as I need them to be. I tend to keep a piece of gear as long as I can and get as much out of it as I possibly can. And then I move on. You guys are going to keep me up all night with this stuff.

Wow that was wonderful......great performances....this all emphasizes my point that the S910 is definitely in the right hands one of the best sounding, versatile Arranger KB's on the market. Thanks for posting.

Joe,

There's a very good reason that I continue to perform using my aging, somewhat antiquated PSR-3000s. You just outlined the reason. I'll probably continue using the 3000s until either they, or I, die. wink

Cheers,
