Keyboard Controller - 11/06/10 12:54 PM
Can anyone please recommend a good keyboard controller? would prefer joystick and 49 to 61 keys, would be nice if they had a ribbon control also, but I don't think anyone makes that feature?

CME VX-V2 series has a ribbon controller, but I would also check out the following:
Cakewalk (Roland) A-800/ 500 pro
or
Edirol PCR-800 / 500,
or
Novation SL MK-II

Vangelis,
what exactly do you want to do with the controller? Use it as a keyboard? Use buttons to control synths ? What is your price range?
What Hitman recommends is among the best, have in mind that the Roland/Cakewalk things are virtually τhe same, the PCR range is 2-3 years old and the Cakewalk A range is 2-3 months old. PCR is probably cheaper now if you get an old unit. Both do not have ribbon controller.

Well, I have a Triton Module that I would like to start gigging, and wanted a joystick and a ribbon,I don't want to go crazy on the price, don't need bells and whistles but then again how am I going to get those two features?

Might wanna check out the Novation X-station as well. It is cheaper, has a joystick and a programmable X-Y touch pad. But so does the SL MK-II. I guess Novation seems to be the only one meeting your criteria.

Thanks! to all for the help, I have a pretty good idea of what to get, I also found one that is a great price and also looks like the features that I want and that is the INFRASONIC M49 and cheap at 139 euro from the MUSIC STORE DE.
