Listen to this...
One song did during the tribute to the FUNK BROTHERS...yes caps they WERE motown! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gA0GcXV2njY

I could listen to this everyday.
There is some very high end talent in that crowd.

I plan to learn to play it...of course it won't be like this.
I need a style for this. May have to do my own.

Donny,
How can I get a copy of it?
I'd like to see if I can get it working on the PA2 nicely.

kbrkr,

Yep, I know what you mean...I'm surprised more folks here have not commented..this is awesome! I can't seem to quit listening to it!

That's why the tools on board are superb...let's see if I can get one to work.
There actually are lots of styles out there for PA...but maybe no this one?

Thanks Donny...
I may have to have Rikki help me if I get in over my head ..she has done lots of them.

Lee, the Motown 1 and Motown 2 in your Pa2X are perfect for this.

Don't forget to play around with the tempo, either. Doing that transforms some/most/all styles. Have fun!

The Funk Brothers. Read an interesting biography a while back. Guys were GREAT, and exploited...no residuals...but greatly admired by music lovers everywhere.

Can you imagie setting in a session with them..just watching/hearing the creativity??

Great song, great arrangement. Being a motown purist, I'd love to hear a remix of this arrangement with JR singing, maybe turn up the bari sax a bit.
