The R-10, loaded with room to spare... - 10/22/10 05:11 PM

Finally got around to shooting some photos of the R-10 with my complete rig loaded on it. Also a photo of the rig at a big American Legion job where I performed for a 50th High School reunion in southern Maryland.

Gary no photos are showing. I've seen how slick it is,I hope you can get the photos to show so others can see it too.

Nice pics gary a little too small to get a good closeup look.....

BTW I had to do emergency surgery to my R10 this afternoon after my two gigs....as I was rolling out to the car I noticed a cracked weld on the 5/16th bolt w/cotter-pin that hold the rear handle in place.........caught in just in time off the floor as it wouldn't let me fold up the handle.........so I headed to Home depot bought a 5/16th x 3 1/2" hex bolt some nuts and a lock washer and fixed it nicely..

Gary, your R&R looks like an R-8

Fran,

It's an R-10. Look at the wheels--they're balloon tires--not solid.

Donny,

I don't have a way of making larger photos because I used Photobucket to post them, which limits the size. I also posted the same photos on the PSR-Tutorial site, which has an enlarging feature when the photo is clicked.

Gary,

What's that wood burning stove with the smoke stack doing behind you?

Tom,

It's a distillery for Kickapoo Joy Juice--gotta' keep warm down here now. The temperature is significantly lower than my age, so it must be winter.

Cheers,

Gary

Gary, Is that where you position your Compct? I place mine further away from me because it did feedback when I put it closer.

Cassp,

No problem with feedback, but this may be because I use a Crown CM-311A headset mic, which is very feedback resistant. Also, my mic EQ settings may have some bearing on the lack of feedback as well.

Followup:.......all went well after replacing the original welded steel pin & replaced it with a 3 1/2" long 5/16" Hex lag bolt.... R&R cart is back in action and doing its job gig after gig, day after day...if your not using a R&R cart your making "TOO MANY TRIPS"

PS.. also after 8 years of vigorous use I replaced the worn front wheels also.....purchased from R&R parts department...easily installed at home.
