Can anybody teach me the lick in this video? - 09/23/10 05:20 AM

This Tyros4 demo has a lick(or a couple of licks) that I have been trying for years to figure out. So I thought I'd ask you guys if anyone knew it and could teach it to me.

The lick is from 0.18 - 0.25

Cheers!

Hi Doc-Z

He is playing SLURS. These can be played many ways, but essentially you take the root or third note and either slide your finger onto the note above or the note below. It's like playing a sus to a major or a Dim to a major. The technique requires you to do it quickly.

Ok, I understand. But what notes are in this particular passage? It is a quite common sucession of licks, but I have never been able to make them out.

so it's just chords, and then a little slurred arpeggio on the minor seventh?
