Mid Atlantic Region Jam

Mid Atlantic Region Jam - 09/09/10 01:16 PM

Anyone that is serious about attending a Mid-Atlantic Region Jam, May 14 & 15, 2011, please email me at travlin_easy@verizon.net before Friday, October 1, 2010.

DO NOT email me if you cannot make a firm commitment. The number of respondents will ultimately determine where the event will take place, and how extravagant it will be.

If there will be less than 30 attendees I'll likely do the entire thing at my home and provide the food and beverages. If the number is larger than 30, then I'll have to find another facility nearby. Naturally, the larger number of individuals would likely require some modest remuneration on the part of the attendees for the food and beverages.

The above dates are firm--I'm booked for all of 2011 and part of 2012 and they are the only open days I have during that time of year.

OK gang, the ball's in your court!

Cheers,

Gary

Gary, count me in. I will be happy to split the cost with you. Sorry I've missed your calls, but both college and church kicked back in this week so I've been all over the place. Looking forward to talking with you about the jam. BTW, I was so jealous yesterday, probably the best sailing day in awhile and I was working all day. Oh well!

Gary,

I am tempted to make the trip. What is the location? I would like to determine the travel time and distance.

Regards,

Jerry

Fran,

Bring the young gal you're married to. Last time I saw her I thought she was your daughter.

Looking forward to seeing you and Donny.

Oh man, I really want to make this ... One problem is that the following weekend I will be going to Ocean City MD for a week of golf ...
I would be driving back and forth from RI to MD 2 weeks in a row ... that's a lot of driving ... gotta try to work sometHing out ...
t
PS Gary - what ever happened to you "slowing down"?!?

Tony,

You and Lydia can always stay here, maybe do some sailing and drink Margarettas. I havn't played golf since I was 15 years old, so that's out for me. But maybe we could get DonM up here at the same time and he could show you some of his golf techniques.

As for slowing down and partial retirement, it ain't working out real well. Every time I cut out one location another finds out and hires me on, often for more money. It's hard to say no to someone waving money in your face. Some of the new places are just five minutes drive time from the house. Damned that's hard to turn down--even for an old fart.

Cheers,

Gary

I would love to come and will try, but it's too far off to make a commitment yet.

Re: Mid Atlantic Region Jam - 09/14/10 02:52 PM

So far, the list consists of DNJ, Fran, Joe Ayala, myself and the ladies.

Currently, the menu stands at filet mignon, steamed jumbo shrimp, assorted veggies, the usual assortment of chips and cheeses, wine, Margarettas and beer.

I only have four sound systems, Bose L1, Bose L1 Compact, Barbetta Sona-32SC, Logitech Z-5500. For keyboards, I'm down to a pair of PSR-3000s, so I guess Fran will have to lug that monster G-70 and DNJ can haul his S910 with him.

Cmon' Down,

Gary

Gary dont know about the ladies yet on our end, but so far we'll be there ....
I hope we can get some more to attend or maybe the timing isn't right and will have to be at a later date? Would love to have a Tyros 4 & Audya there for a throwdown
