I had that problem with my tyros 2 when it was fairly new. I did a factory reset and now it's been fine ever since. I hope that helps

You may or may not know about this Korg-specific forum. Might be worth a shot asking about your problems on there. Good luck. http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=50&sid=fafaf79de438d1312e839ed4fdd16ec0

BAT,
It's in the manual...just reload everything. OS and musical resources...
If that doesn't fix it...back to Korg for repair.

Most likely the problem is in the worst joystick ever made! by KORG and also the same crap in the OASYS, it's unbelievable., any way look at the joystick and board that is connected to it.

Yer ive done that twice to no avail but dont forget the os system is the latest upgrade to the original so would this make a difference ? am i right that the original factory settings would be before i did the upgrade ? maybe getting a little muddled hear but i think you know what i mean.as regards a repair..5 months old..no way..i'll want an exchange from the retailors..who are very quiet at the moment over this..many thanks

As i say, this thing is 5 months old and when playing the C key on the third octave C vanishes into the cracks it's sounds like a pub piano ! no Joy(stick)i tell you.My X5DR is perfectly in tune as is my I40M arranger.
PA500 ? Ready for a body bag then the river Mersey !..thanks once again

I have an out of tune problem with the PA800 if the joystick is hit incorrectly. It remains out of tune until I fool with it again. But I think it only affects the RH sound being used.

Come to think of it, when the weather changed from the cold outside to the warm inside, the board would be out of tune terribly until the unit actually warmed up. I had this problem last winter, but never in the summer.

Next would probably be better if it included a good cleaning of the joystick assembly...

This thing is 5 months old so any defects its up to the retailor and Korg UK to sort out.
At the moment the retailor has gone to ground
but they will sit up when i box it up and it arrives on their doorstep.
