After a busy weekend, my gig tomorrow is on my deck manning the grill. The kids are coming down from York with the new grandson.

Don,

Is this a new place in addition to Ernest's or has this one taken Ernest's place?

Ernest has cut my schedule quite a bit, so this is additional. I've played there pretty often over the past few years, so when I called then said Come On.
After tonight, I will be switching to a different night because of Monday Night Football.
The food is reeeeelly good too.

Regular country club gig for holidays...on the mighty B-3 and Rhodes, with my grandson on drums. The club has 7500 members, so there is a "small but mighty" jazz contingent.

Been doing all Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Xmas Eve and New Years events there for nearly 40 years, plus a jazz night a month, with guests...usually a horn or guitar player. WHAT FUN!

Let's me keep the capacitors in the Leslies in good shape (I use a 145 and a 147 RV-two switches each)!

Sorry that I hadn't thought about being on SynthZone before Labor Day. Anyway, went to a local park and we had a live band, a guitarist and myself on my PSR S710. It was a large event put on by 10 churches in the area, where I played 3 sets in the afternoon till evening at an outdoor amphitheater. I think the total number who came to hear as I was playing was about 2,500. The people loved it. Even had 8 people make requests between sets.
The next three major gigs are on Sept 19 at another park, the day before Thanksgiving at the Energy Solutions Arena in Salt Lake, and Thanksgiving Day at a large Church in North Salt Lake.
