What are the differences between Audya 76 & New Audya 61 - 09/01/10 08:48 PM

61 has joystick rather than wheels. It has the row of assignable multi-tabs. Most everything else is the same.

Oh I don't plan to get a 61, at least not right now. Maybe a module, if they aren't too big.

Any day now.... soon.... just around the corner... can't be long, now... almost here... on its' way... practically here... just you wait...

Nothing more pathetic than a kid waiting for an ice cream truck in a neighborhood that the truck no longer delivers to...

E80 is gone to Massachusetts. I liked it a lot, but not the size and weight.
Still have the E50 which I actually use for quick in and out jobs.
I have a guy wanting to buy it, but it is such a great little keyboard, especially for the money, that I hate to turn it loose yet.
Also, it makes a great, inexpensive backup in case the Audya acts up.

DonM,

Your Audya has never acted up, mine and Skude's are perfect now, did I just say that, twas only for Diki I said it, Diki might buy one before Leezone, did I just say that !! You could hear a pin drop. I'll tell you what, since the latest Audya upgrade all has gone silent, happy days and happy punters. Glad your update all went well Don. Do you still think Audya is the best, think you may be right. BoooooM!

Lee, if I was as insecure about buying something as you are, I'd probably do what you do...but I'm not, so I don't.

The Audya is not for everyone...the Tyros3 is not for everyone.,..the G-70 is not for everyone.

Yamaha has it's fair share of converts...we owners just don't feel the need to hoot about it...we are far more secure.

There's no need for bashing products at every opportunity like you've been doing lately, but it says more about your indecisiveness and need for approval than it does about anything else.

Get your Audya...no one will laugh at you...be happy...we'll support you...honest!

I have to agree, however no plans to sell the Tyros 3!

I'm enjoying the best of both worlds!

The sound upgrade definitely took the Audya to undeniable " TOP OF THE IT DON'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS LIST! "

Re: What are the differences between Audya 76 & New Audya 61 - 09/03/10 08:38 AM

The Audya is great for what I do. It has all the styles and sounds that I use and need.
Perfect? Of course not. I still would like to take the best features (again, for ME) from the various brands and put them all together.
However, even if I found the perfect one for me, chances are there are a lot of people it wouldn't please.

It would be the same for any of us, Don...all I want is a product that suits my needs and my style of playing.

We are all different in our approach to playing, as well as the styles we play in, so it's not going to be a "one keyboard fits all" situation.

Some 'boards are just better at some things than others, but, overall, they are all great instruments; so it's simple...buy what is best for you.

How much will the 61 key Audya cost?

To Mr NiteLife- that must be nice having a Tyors 3 and an Audya. What to like about the Tyros that the Audya doesn't do and visa versa?

Re: What are the differences between Audya 76 & New Audya 61 - 09/03/10 02:54 PM

I have said several times that the Audya is the best arranger I've ever heard. I have it and an s900. The Yamaha has some styles that make it shine above the Audya with those types of styles, but that's about it. Of course, it costs 1/3 as much, so, that is a major advantage. But as for the best sound, the Audya wins, hands down.

BAck when I was buyying/upgading Organs every 2-4 yars or so...I got some good advice---Listen to the instrument NOT the player..AND ask yourself what you can do with it when ou get it delivered not what everyne else says it can do.

Had Wurlizer, Thomas, Conn, Lowry, finally Yamaha...Oh the good old days!

Hi

My T3 hasn't left the house, so I have the T3 and Audya connected to my Fohnn Experience PA. The Audya is defently the winner. The sound is a little bit like my good old G-70, but everything sounds better even the Piano sounds.

Leezone,

Please go and see Frank this weekend, promise me will you. And Niels did you say better than the G70, keep your head down, the brick bats are on their way and then then the exocet missile.
