AUDYA 's User Drums --->>> Creating and Using YOUR .wav's - 08/18/10 09:43 AM

ok, so i need to be able to use my own audio drums as AUDYA does not have all genres, styles

i will have intros, main, var, end, 4 bar, 8 bar clips, etc

is it easy to make your own styles from YOUR audio drums??
if so how? all within keyboard?
or is there software for this?

anyone done this?

an example of Drums i would add is: http://www.4shared.com/audio/FiEGrjnp/drums.html

Leezone,

It's all within the keyboard. You may only need an external audio editor e.g. Digital Audio to cut the audio/wave files precicely where you want them at for the respective bars .. e.g. 2, 3, 4 ... 32 bar length (ofcourse you can achieve this with the AUDYA's Sampler too but it's usually more difficult on a smaller keyboard/workstation screen).

Once you have the wave to the desired play length, volume ...etc, assign it a name e.g. Disco_A@120.wav (where "A" is the Arranger part it will get asigned to and "120" is the default BPM the sample was recorded at. So, for a style, you will have:-
Disco_A@120.wav
Disco_B@120.wav
Disco_C@120.wav ... etc for all relevant style parts.

AUDYA will use the 120 value to time-stretch the wave when Tempo changes are made within the style.

Place all these wave files into the USER DRUM folder ... when you get your AUDYA, I'll give you more details as any informaton from here on will be useless until then.

Thanks,

AJ

Leezone,

I am sure you are aware of this site, but since you are such a fan of Brazilian and Portuguese music, I would suggest obtaining the styles specific tailored for those music types, right here:
http://www.fcmusica.com/shop/?en_ritmos-para-ketron-audya,171

As you also speak Portuguese, another site full of good Portuguese/Brazilian/African styles (I bought some for me and I can confirm they are very good) is:
http://www.midiarte.pt/loja4/index.html?lmd=39632.655370

Cheers,

Carlos Silva
