Dave Grusin jazz styles - 08/16/10 01:05 PM

Does anyone know where I can find a few Dave Grusin type of jazz styles? I'm surprised Yamaha hasn't produced any - at least that I've been able to find.

I recall at least one very good one on my old Technics arranger some years ago.

His signature style must be very popular. Could it be that it's copyrighted?

Don't know about Grusin style(s) availability, but, man does the kat have STYLE!

not sure it would be all that popular as arranger styles for most, but well worth the effort to learn the material.

Good eye (and ear)!

MAN! Grusen, Gadd and Ritenour...the FATHERS of FUSION!

Fabulous find, Donny! Three of my all-time favorites. My "go to" guitar is a 335. Nigel has an old one, too! They're GREAT.

Both Grusens deserve a lot of respect for starting and maintaining GRP.

Dave Grusin ... love his touch!

Would this (audya)style be in the genre that you're looking for?

It's close as I've heard on any recent style, but lacks his signature riffs.
