Hi Nedim.
In a heart beat I'd be going for TITAN and Complete Classical Collection 2nd Edition.

I think together they both complement each other wonderfully, and the range of sounds is amazing.

Stick all that then into a Lionstracs Groove and laugh your ass off at closed keyboard forever.

Regards
James

That is my plan actually, on top of all my Goliath bank too...but i kind a like the Gladiator too,
it has some interesting Synthezis...but Titan has a better variety of Sounds, i will be going for it.

Although isn't Titan synthesized versions of the real thing?

Listening to the guitars from Goliath against Titan and to me the Goliath guitars and basses and way in front of Titan.

Or are you guys more after synth genre sounds??

Well Titan is ALL Samples from all kinds of Synths ONLY while Goliath is based on real Samples.
I have Goliath but i am torn between Titan and Glatiador, Gladiator is a Synth Engine, not Samples,
based on HMC Synthezis i think, i have the Demo, its one of the most complicated Synths.

Thanks Nedim, I am after the real samples so I will go with Goliath..After listening to the demos I think it is a step up from ManyGuitar/Bass and TruPianos

You'll love it, mine cost me more cuz i originally bought Collossus ages ago for over
500$ and then had to upgrade for 99$ to Goliath but i love the whole Library.

By the way, you had/have the MS...Goliath has a HUGE GM Bank and also the others can be reassigned
to GM...can you imagine running a Syle thru this on MS? (-:

Looks like Goliath is off the menu now...

Did some checking and the Play system they use requires an i-Lock, which does NOT work on Linux.

I had Collossus with no iLock but lately most of their new Products are on iLock.
I have a Collossus for sale if anyone interested, ownership, license and registration
can be transfered. You will be missing only 8 GB of Goliath while Collossus itself is
33 GB, the 8 xtra GB in Goliath are almost all from StormDrum, mostly drones and
soundscapes, all the rest are from Collossus, whatever you hear on Goliath Demos.

Look, you can't have it both ways... you can't act all injured when closed arranger players actually want to HEAR this supposed superiority, but on the other hand, you make inflammatory statements like 'laugh your ass off at closed arrangers forever'...

You want the rhetoric dialed down from us, you are going to have to start doing it yourself.

Denis, you opened my eyes man, i am not selling Collosus anymore, since i can simply
and easily install it on MS cuz it doesnt require an iLock like Goliath, it is simply
an activation based on Code of digits and letters while at the same time i use Goliath on PC.

Cool

I am still looking at Goliath. It sounds like an awesome package, well from the demos anyway..And the iLock is only needed for the PLAY as far as I can tell.

Maybe James can confirm??

No, Play is a free software and you can download it for free too, the Samples cannot be
extracted and brought anywhere else, from Collossus they can go to Kontakt and use them
in there but cannot be saved as Monolith. iLock protects the Library itself, the Library wont
open anywhere else without iLock, even if you figure out to play it on something else.

So Goliath MUST have the iLock to function?

The webpage onyl really indicates its for the Play software....

Dennis

EDITED to say I followed the link to the purchase page and it is much clearer there. Goliath DOES have to have i-Lok to run. My question is then redundant Nedim

So I sent them a question re i-Lok ever being able to be used on Linux. As it is already available for MAC it must not be that much of a stretch for it to run on Linux???
