He got me again. Just ordered that little Edirol digital mixer that I don't need....but at $125.00(Nova Musik) new with warranty, what could I do? Naturally, while I was on there (Amazon), I just happened to run across a couple of nice Mics, a mic desk stand, and a couple of Behrenger ???3000 headsets. I have at least a dozen headsets (and mics) but you can never have too many headsets , especially cheap ones (19/.95/ea.).

I think, in the future, when I see any post with Fran's name on it, I'm just going to bypass it.

NOT from PAT'S. How do I know? He would have gone years ago from a heart attack. You could drive a VW diesel about 10 miles on the grease extracted from just one Pat's cheese-steak....and if that doesn't get you, the hot peppers will.

Oh, c'mon now ... I'm still here and I've have a few of them ... ...

When I still had the day job I used to go into Philly on business ... a stop at Pat's or Gino's was a MUST ... ... even used to get a couple double wrapped and then wrap them in plastic bags and take them home for dinner ... people on the plane always knew what the 'aroma' was from ...

Don't know where Steve's is but I'll have to check it out the next time I am down that way ... I've also hear 'Jim's' is good ... ??? ...

PS can we now consider this thread 'hijacked' ?!?!? ...

We must be getting old. I was in Philly a few months ago and got one from Geno's and I had the runs all afternoon. They are great though.

Well, that's probably more information than we needed to know, but, the real question is, was it enough to stop you from getting another one the next time you're in Philly?................yeah, I didn't think so .
