I don't think this is a very recent video, but then again, I didn't watch it all. As soon as Voncken starts playing German "folk music", I'm outta there :-) Why can't the guy demo an instrument without doing that? :-)

Burkels,

I thinks it's because he's German, I agree with you, it gets to me a little, but is is a good demo man, I would like to see him playing Audya their demo man isn't that good, he makes lots of strumming with his hands thinks he is playing an invisible guitar. Voncken speaks good English also, he's got a lot of good points. A lot of people will have purchased T1,2,3 after watching him!

Tony

Because it's a Yamaha Style demonstration,
and because Mr. Voncken isn't that narrow-minded.

You don't seem to get it, and implying that I _am_ narrow-minded isn't going to help either.

By the way, Voncken is Dutch, like myself. Not German.

It's a good demo, and how much is there possible to demo in just a few minutes?
If he just play American Big band, it sure don't suit me, if it's only Jazz it
don't fit into what I would like to hear, but is it a bad demo if so??
Honesty, how many SZ'ers could play and demo any arrangerkeyboard like he does?

Cheers and Happy Playing

The demo is for the European market; therefore he has to cover as many styles as possible.

Just skip over the parts that you don’t like, just like those that like German folk music will probably skip over other parts.

The boards only came out in September; therefore the videos cannot be that old. (Although it will depend on what you class as old)

Nice demo. Nothing wrong with German folk music. It shows the versatility of these keyboards. Only he use to much reverb.

Geezz guys. I'll be more generous with the smileys next time. Or maybe post replies with a big "THE FOLLOWING IS MEANT TO BE READ AS A TONGUE-IN-CHEEK REMARK" at the top.

And thanks Abacus, for the useful hint about skipping parts. Never knew. (Insert Rolling Eyes Smiley here)

Don't take life too serious guys. Or me. :-)
