KETRON and NAMM 2010 ... - 12/21/09 09:13 PM

what do you guys think Ketron will bring this coming January ???

i'd guess OS 4.0

AND a "lower-end" version of AUDYA
much like an SD5 but with the real audio guitars and drums, without Midjay, without vocalizer, withour mp3/wav etc. with 61 keys,

or maybe AUDYA PLUS,

just my guess...

Ah yes the saga continues, yes deff OS4 lets hope that addresses all of the problems that current owners have, I suggest an Audya Module, like the SD3, but much better also with OS4, and possibly a cut down Audya, we'll see anly 3 weeks to go now

Nedim,

Have you ever watched the film Ben Hur just at the end when Masala (Juda Ben Hur) visits the Tribun after the chariot race and Tribune half a man with his legs to be just chopped off, The Tribune tells Masla where is sister and mother are in the valley of the lepers, "It goes on Juda, it goes on" he says.
Just like the Audya the fight goes on for us all, but not for you Tribune Nedim, you isn’t got one! Thank your lucky stars and have a very nice Christmas.

Cheers to you all for happy times in 2010 hopes it's going to be better for Audya Nuts

Me too, for an Audya Module!
Ketron could fulfil our dreams and help their own viability at the same time.
It may even be possible to shoe-horn it into the ready made SD3 case.
Had they fitted a USB port to the SD3, I would have bought that already.
They sometimes don't seem to care whether they sell their products at all.

Re: KETRON and NAMM 2010 ... - 12/22/09 12:35 PM

they would need a new shell/case

oh, and KETRON, while you're at it,
add USB 2.0, because USB 3.0 will be standard before you know it

As much as I would like an Audya module, I know it will probably never happen.

Why? Because of the midijay.
That basically has everything the Audya has.
Granted it does not have all of the sounds and it only has audio drums, the Audya and midijay are practically the same.

I use and really like the Midjay Plus - but for me, I would like it even more if it had more styles, especially if AJ and/or the folks at Ketron were to convert the Audya styles for use with the Plus ...

the Midjay is NOT an arranger module as is SD5, AUDYA, etc., where we have real-time chord recognition/changes

so bring on the AUDYA MODULE

Leezone,

To do that you they will need to get their heads from up their a***s first, I wonder if Ketron are investers in people, they are not in technology. USB 2 will never get put on the Audya, maybe Audya2

Oh yes, it is. I used one as an arranger for a couple of years. I controlled it with a Roland controller keyboard. It responds very well to all midi commands.
I know many others who use it as an arranger module.

Whatever version of USB is on the Audya, it works extremely well and very quickly. It reads the USB thumb drives instantly.
When connected to pc, it quickly loads styles, and midi files. I haven't loaded MP3s or sounds yet.
