Look at Korg PA section, its getting dead too.

lets liven this bad boy forum up then. Donny post the chicken song. That will get it going. People will start recommending I seek professional help.

Ho ho, this should get it going!

When you post there is an UBB code link that shows you the code you can use and there is an img tag that you put around a link to a picture somewhere online. But try to make it not as wide as the one in this thread or it forces everyone to have to scroll the page to the right to read postings .... like you may be having to do right now.

maybe we're all running out of steam.
As Nedim mentioned, Korg forum is pretty quiet also.
I've been busy with my birthday presents.
Non musical this year.
A couple of cute little maltese/shih tzu cross puppies.
Other than that , nothing exciting except that we got hit by a 15 ton truck the other day. Hubby pulled up for the red light, truck obviously was not going to.
Fortunately truckie tooted , hubby saw him looming up on us in rear vision mirror, & took off thru the red ( no other vehicle around) , but alas, a bit too late, he still slammed into the back of us. If hubby hadn't taken off, may not be chatting at the moment.

Maybe we need another, my keyboards better than yours war. haahaa

No new keyboards, no new purchases, no new posts. This economy sucks. BTW, I'm going to try to play my first chord on guitar today.

I thought it was only me! I've been playing less and better lately and thinking less about the keyboards and at the same time I've been closer to my wife and kids. Could it be this global crisis/depression made us think of what really matters: love instead of material things?. Guys/girls lets take advantage of this opportunity and improve our playing skills. By the way take care of everyone around us who probably need us more than we think. We can share many other things apart from the latest purchase like playing techniques, new setups, share some song etc.

I will never be a guitarist or even a guitar player. I cannot commit myself to those hand and finger contortions. I can't press down firmly enough to make the chords and a bigger, fatter fretboard is definitely not an advantage. My only regret is that I didn' stick to it when I was younger, then I would have kept that nice Applause guitar I had.

If you are posting a pic from a website....Right click on the picture..click properties of the picture..copy the address...

Now... add...[img] on the front of the address...and ... [/img] on the back of the address.....done!!!

I did what you said Fran, and I'm still not getting it right.

I went to a website and clicked on a picture, copied the address and pasted as per your instructions.
Maybe it doesn't work because I'm using a Mac....nah, I doubt that. It's probably me.

yes it was. The $11K damage done could have bought me 3 new keyboards.haahaa Fortunately we got out without a scratch, really scary to think what would have happened if hubby hadn't already been doing 20klms per hour when he slammed into the back of us, we were all but out of the trucks way.
