Thank God! Oh man, that would have been a disaster for us who drive and recoup mileage for deductions.

Jim,

If you are using Turbo Tax you have the option to use either mileage or actual expenses. You may find that actual expenses will provide you with a better deduction than mileage. This is especially true when you are using a larger vehicle that gets lousy gas mileage and cost more per mile to operate.

Thanks Gary,

My CPA for years always works the mileage angle - don't really have many expenses, but sure do drive the miles

Its has to do with arrangers too, we cary them in our cars...
