Strange ... - 02/16/09 07:36 PM

Using Mozilla, I was trying to post a reply to Larry's new song thread and when I hit the 'submit' I got a message that I was not registered ...
Then I tried to re-register, and got the message that no new registrations were being accepted ...

Then I tried the reply with Internet Explorer and it worked fine ...
Anybody have any clue as to why that would happen?
I still can't get the S-Z site to recognize my name using Mozilla...
Damned technology !!!!
thnx,
t.

That's fine cass, except that I prefer to use Mozilla for security reasons... isn't THAT ironic?!? ...
Hopefully Nigel can help me out with this ...

The reason registrations aren't being accepted is because of the recent spam attacks. Read the "New Member Registration" announcement at the top of the main forum pages. People just have to contact me now to register. Not a big deal and it keeps scumbags out so I am leaving it like that for the time being.

But posting on the forum should work for any browser. I'll try it from work tomorrow with Firefox and see how it goes.

Try actually typing it in rather than using the remembered version in the cookie in case that has a mistake in it. Even a space at the end of the username or password will screw it up and it is impossible to even see the space to know that is what is going on.

Nigel, as usual you were right ... an extra 'space' had gotten in there ...

Tony, liked the title here. Really enjoyed a little "strange" in my younger days.

Ah, the things we do (or did) for love!
(Think I write a song. Wait some little group already did).
