Yeah, what's another 97 lbs. Soon you'll need a Semi- to carry your gig rig. Is there some kind of special sale on hernia operations up there. Like great rotary effects; get a Nord C1 .

PS: Still loving that K4. Thanks.

Isn`t Frank a Roland dealer now ?

I took a peek at that amp as well , I bet it would sound better than the Tyros speakers I`m using !! LOL

Give us a review , let us know , thanks.

Yep... easy enough to lever a keyboard in it's case into the car or van... This thing you've either got a ramp, or you are going to have to dead lift it.

Ouch!

Whats is the design team thinking when they sit down and discuss a new product like this.....doesn't weight come to their mind before they waste money & these things lay around unsold due to things like weight...it makes you wonder ....do they think these units will all stay in the home after purchase?
Maybe they'll need a "bailout" soon also.

I'm not saying I would look forward to lifting a 97 pound amp into and out of a van....but it does have wheels....

Besides, am I the only one that actually lifted and carried heavy items in my "day " job..

I didn't start thinking about carry something heavy..till I listened to all the complainers here on SynthZone..

I thought it was normal for a man to be able to carry 100 plus pounds.. ..You guys must have all been union workers...

I guess "old construction workers" still have it..

Ask Boo?

Fran,

When I was 30 years old I lugged 120 full-size railroad ties on my shoulder, one at a time, from the end of my driveway to the front of my house, a distance of about 90 feet. I used the to construct a 2-tier retainer wall measuring just over 80 feet long. Last year I had to rebuild the wall--age and weather finally took its toll. At age 68 those ties feel twice as heavy, therefore, I opted to enlist the aid of my 40-year-old son who is much stronger than most folks I know. When the job was finished, which took four days, he said "Now I know why you had two back surgeries!"

As for Boo, he told me he has a bad back as well from all those years of brick and block laying. Come to think of it, nearly every general contractor I know has a bad back.

From the description it sounds like a first class instrument. From the perspective of someone that lugs his keyboard in and out of one to two locations every day of the week it sounds like another bout with the neurosurgeon. NAH! I'll stick with the lightweights.

Cheers,

Gary

Has it got a cupholder?

Look, many many pro bands have trucks with ramps. You need this kind of volume, you are probably playing in that kind of circumstance.

Not everything is designed for the OMB... because not everybody IS an OMB (as seldom as we would like to admit it ).

Forget that......I want this one!!!

Do you love to sit and sunbath out in the pool? Have you ever thought how it would be nice to move around the pool instead of just sitting in one spot? Many people use lounger chairs in the pool so that they can sit on top of the water and just float around and sunbath. Some lounge chairs are better than other and can vary on how comfortable they are. One company has developed what they call the Ultimate Lounger.

The Ultimate Lounger is named that because it is a motorized lounger chair. The chair is propelled around the pool by two ultra quiet motors, this ensures that you can relax and not be overpowered by the sound of motors. You get two joysticks so that you can control where the lounger chair goes in the pool. There is also a built in cup holder for party drinks or just everyday drinks. There is one downside to having this motorized lounger chair and that is that the chair requires 12 D-cell batteries. Other than this one downside, it is a great pool accessory that will make your everyday more entertaining. This is a must have for anyone who spends anytime in a pool and loves to sunbath.

That model might be 100-120 lbs. Maybe a bit more.

Not ONE of you would mind picking that up!
