Urgent- Bose L1 Mod needed

Anyone know where to get the Bose L1 Mod1 at a decent price and get it ASAP?

Need it for an upcoming gig.

I don;t know about a decent price as the resale on these things are excellent. We saw the Mod II with Tone match going for $500-600 less than new ($3000)on Ebay (when you could find them).
We decided new was the best way to go, They are tough to find used. But when you realize that, you realize also you only have $500-$700 in the system as you can get up to 80% of your money back used years later. Try that with any conventional system.

Just got off the phone with Bose and found out they charge sales tax!! Bummer - that runs up the price another $210.00. Any other places to order from?

Musician's Friend is where I got my first one.
They will match any price and have "free" shipping.
Most of the on-line guys have them.

I got mine from MF Cheaper than buying it direct. As has been stated before no tax and free shipping.

Oh and by the way I used their (MF) credit card for no interest for 12 months, I didn't wait that long to pay it off but what a deal. no tax no shipping no interest you can almost make money on that deal.

I found a nib L1 Mod 1 at one of our GC stores but with the sales tax it is more than i will spend. MF can send me one with free shipping and no sales tax but they won't have the Mod 1 in stock until the 6th of Dec. so that is what I will do. I did notg order it because it would be on "back order". I will wait until the 6th and call them to order it. Also, they said they could not provide next day shipping on a "back order". Meanwhile, I will borrow a friends larger PA system for my upcoming gig on Friday.
