Mario-I'd be interested in what you find out. I still play 2 old MS-60's. For some reason, I believe the MS-100 was later than the MS-50 but before the SD-1 and the like.

Recently got an SD-5, but have not begun playing it regularly. Also have a Midjay...same deal...not using it on a regular basis, but will soon.

Let me know what you think. I really like Ketron (Solton) stuff!

Mario,
The MS100 has 76 keys, no speakers and an internal hard drive. Other than these changes, it is the same as the MS50.

I owned ms60 also and I like them very much, but I know the MS100 has the same sound engine, but different styles. I just wanted to know what peoples thoughts were.

Will the Ms100 play all X1 & Sd1 styles also?

MS100 also has some styles not found on the MS40/50/60, more RAM to load Grooves and Patterns AND better text display for midifiles with lyris (doesn't truncate long text like the others ...).

I don't believe that MS100 will play any other styles than the MS series styles. It doesn't have the same sound engine and it doesn't have that second groove drum like the x1-sd5 have.
