Roland E-80 - 09/05/08 12:35 PM

Does anyone know how the Roland E-80 compares to the G-70? And how about to Yamaha (Tyros 2)?

The E-80 is getting "long in the tooth" and the key-bed is "not as good as there Fantom G series". (Roland`s words)

The Tyros 2 & 3 uses the FXS key-bed , which equals to great action.

The G70 uses a completely different style key-bed , I believe it is "hammer action" .

The E-80 as well as the T-2 are geared for home use , and the G70 is more of a live / studio arranger.

Oh Boy ....there's that BUZZ word 'HOME USE" again......which will start a riot again with Tyros pros & amateurs.

Dnj -
I did a search and was a bit overwhelmed...
I am currently still using a PSR 3000 and possibly looking to upgrade.
Thanks for all the help.

How about this?

For some, it's a home keyboard. For others, it's a pro keyboard

Or a PROME keyboard.
