HA..., now this Yamaha has gotten my attention! 16 trks, and style recorder I wonder if it too has some mega voices like those on the S500

I wonder if they limited the post song editing on this model....

Hmmmm..., looking at the full spec list, they sure balled out on the sequencer capacity. Seems a little thin for 16 trks. This is straight from the spec list:
--------------------------------------------
Approx. 10,000 notes (when only "melody" tracks are recorded)
Approx. 5,400 chords (when only "chord" tracks are recorded)
--------------------------------------------

Nice to see the poly is up to 64 notes too. Interesting there will be two models. I wonder if one will be for the UK and the other for the US.

Hmmmmmm, I'm reading the manual and in the manual it states the song memory for 16 tracks of "melody" is 30,000 notes... That makes more sense than what's listed on the spec list for the UK site. I thought that to be odd that Yamaha would have up to 16 trks and a 10,000 note capacity. Wouldn't take long to blow that out (especially when using the styles for user songs)

I'm a bit disappointed it doesn't allow "on-bass" chords.

Also would have been nice to see the arpeggiator and analog controls from the PSR-E403 included.

Maybe the S900/S700 replacements will be in black too...t'would be so cool!
