I'd probably put Korg and Roland arrangers at the top of that list (if you just consider arrangers), but in truth, neither is served that well in factory styles, as it isn't a style that the majority of arranger users play all that much...

The Korg is very close in architecture to a Triton, which is pretty strong in that area, so if you make your own styles, it might make a better choice, but you still have to get past that fill issue...

Personally, if trance and techno are your main thrust, I would have thought an M3 would be the axe of choice... Either that or a MotifXS. FantomG seems a bit more acoustic based, IMO.

In my experience now and live for many months with the PA800, I can say it can handle absolutely any genre you choose. I do very soft string ballads that fill the room, to really rock hard guitars, to very adequate country (with authentic sound steel pedals) and everything else in between.

It is true that the Korg is limited in stlyes, including 3rd party, but I'd rather use what is available and make them work.

Mine is better than yours.........please, not saying this - I'm just happy that I'm happy for a change - no, thrilled is more the word
