Looking for good Latin styles, multipads, midi & Lead Sheets - 08/17/08 12:52 PM

I am especially looking for good multipads where I can add a good sounding maracas sound and other percussion instruments used to enhance this kind of music.

Am looking for good classic Latin lead sheets for a classy Latin restaurant/lounge atmosphere. Luis Miguel was one sound mentioned by the owner.

Thanx much in advance.

There's a good Hal Leonard Latin Fake Book with 500 numbers: http://www.amazon.com/Latin-Fake-Book-C-Books/dp/0634011030

101 Latin Hits for Buskers is also good value: http://www.musicroom.com/se/ID_No/087/details.html

And I always carry this ancient old Spanish book, which is still in print, which has more obscure stuff (NB: this is in fixed do Solfège format): http://www.megamusic.es/en/sheet-music-details.asp?id=M924

HTH.

If you want good latin styles buy a KETRON or try recording your own MULTIPADS on the Yamaha its not too hard at all.

Scott,

You have mail. Jump over to the PSR Tutorial site for all the multipads you can imagine, most of which are very good.
