this morning in Nashville was 89.
I bought my first 45 record of his in late 40's. 7 years with the wrong woman.

Met him when I was playing for a Derby party in Lexington in the 70's. A real "Country Gentleman". Good singer, too!

A sad day in music....Tonight Im gonna do "Make the World Go Away" in his memory!!

I've always loved Eddy Arnold's music. With the highest compliment being a form of imitation, I'd like to dedicate in honor of Mr Arnold's memory, my renditions of two of his classic hits: "Cattle Call", and "You Don't Know Me", of which he himself composed, along with Cindy Walker:
