Negatives -- Negatives -- Negatives - 03/25/08 11:24 PM

I woke up at 2:16 AM and went to my computer to visit here – negatives, negatives, 76, 76 ,76, no bright side, very few positives. If I were a manufactures rep I would visit here because I had to, it is mostly a place for abuse for them. IMHO.

We do tend to be a thankless crowd, we post mostly negatives about the keyboards. There is rarely thank you for this and that.

Yes we are the buyers of keyboards, but we do sound like an unappreciative lot, we have keyboards that keep growing in every area, without the manufactures efforts we would still be playing keyboards with little to offer.

I just had to say that, John C.

SZ is just basically a source of entertainment for me...lots of diverse opinions, a few squabbles, a few laughs, and far more interesting than the single manufacturer based forums.

I look forward to logging in every day...hardly ever a dull moment.

John, dissatisfied customers will prompt more improvements (and innovation) than satisfied customers. Let 'um bitch.

John,

I hear where your coming from. However, I try to be as positive as I can:

Remember, except for a few ladies on this forum, your dealing with crusty old men here that have fat bellies, bald heads, limp johnsons, plantar warts, hemorrhoids, loose teeth, blood sucking children, swelling prostates, shrinking 401k's, sub-prime mortgages, bald tires, too many prescription drugs, etc.....

You yourself probably woke up at 2:00am to go to the bathroom!

What the hell is there to be positive about?? LOL

LOL, Al the scary part is many of the things you talk about are very true!! The positive thing is I'm not laying in a box today that's about to be lowered into the ground A nursing home resident confined to a wheel chair once told me that. I have never forgetten those words. Once in a while when I think life is dealing me a bad hand I just think what that old timer said.

Re: Negatives -- Negatives -- Negatives - 03/26/08 06:27 AM

When my uncle was in his late eighties, he went to his doctor, and because of his worsening dementia, I went along with him.

The doctor asked him how he was doing, so he gave him the list of complaints -- this hurts, that's stiff, I'm tireder and slower, etc.

The Doc said,"Mr. Head, you have to expect things to start deteriorating. After all, who wants to live to 100?"

My uncle looked him straight in the eye and replied, .... "Anyone who's 99."

Steve, you are right!!!

There is ALWAYS a bright side of things and we should never lose sight of that!!!

For example, I don't have to use as much Shampoo as I used to! LOL

Re: Negatives -- Negatives -- Negatives - 03/26/08 02:19 PM

Imagine what you would be playing now, if no-one complained, criticized or compared...

Me, I know for SURE that I would still be playing the OS1 of the G70 (a very poor OS by comparison to OS3), that is, if a G70 was ever produced because no-one saw fit to criticize the VA76, or the G1000, or the G800, or the EM2000 or... (ad infinitum)

If you are SO concerned about negativity, try putting a positive spin on the negativity... It's not COMPLAINING, it's helping the unofficial 'focus group' here at SZ improve the breed, and provide valuable customer feedback to the R&D and marketing divisions of the manufacturers.

There... that sounds positive, doesn't it?

You also have to examine the self-contradictory aspects about a thread that COMPLAINS about complaints..

Re: Negatives -- Negatives -- Negatives - 03/26/08 06:41 PM

the consumer is just a pee-on....that gets baited, leached taken advantage of & used over & over & over again its the nature of business. Yea they'll add a few crumbs, throw ya a bone here & there but you NEVER get it ALL! That would be business & financial suicide. make em yearn, complain, & beg for more while they keep buying the recycled models over & over again..
Its sad but it is what it is.
