Now that I know you are here YamahaUS1..
I'd like to make a suggestion...
#1. Please tell the yammy engineers to get rid of the harmonica as one of the sound choices in the one touch settings.
#2. Single drum assignments in the multipads are boring. I'd rather have something that interacts with the style...
#3. Do not harmonize the right hand sound, leave it up to the player.
#4. Why are worship styles under R&B ?
I would be curious to see if current yamaha owners agree ....

I'd like to make a suggestion, too

YamahaUS1. Count how many posts ask for a 76 Yamaha arranger. Now explain why you don't want these people's money...
We don't want a completely different model. We just want an S900 or a T2 with a 76.

Dennis I wouldn't be too far behind you in the line to make that purchase. But as long as they don't, the PA2xPro is keeping me very happy. But who knows I've really got to like the physical sliders and the live Korg sound, so maybe I wouldn't make the switch.

It would really be nice of you to take the time to count the actual number of forum members that have requested a Yamaha 76-key arranger, then post the figure as a percentage of the total forum members. I'm sure that Nigel could help by providing total number of members, and maybe some other pertainent information. I'm sure that Steve Demming would like to see those figures as well.
Cheers,
Gary

It would also be proper to include the names of the posters as well...just to avoid repeats.

Re: Tyros 3 posts - 03/25/08 08:59 AM
SZ is a mere pittance of the market of arranger players....this kind of survey wouldn't be accurate as far as a mass poll.
But having the choice of 61/76/88 if that was available would be a good indication just by looking at yearly Sales figures.

Re: Tyros 3 posts - 03/25/08 09:13 AM
Probably the easiest way to conduct the poll would be to set up a single post for 61 keys, 76 keys, and 88 keys. The respondent would only type in their preference number, 61, 76, 88. No comments at all. This would make it very easy to determine who want what. Nigel would need to provide the total number of active Synthzone members in the General Arranger Forum, which would make figures very easy to determine as a percentage. I'll kick off the poll post right away. Then I have to get ready to go to work. Gotta' look good for the ladies, and at my age this is becomming increasingly more difficult.

Ian, I am shocked. I was under the impression, from all your posts on this issue, that you actually KNEW the answer to this one...

Well Diki, we both know that Steve is not going to get involved....that shouldn't shock you.
And, yes, I do know the answer...I'm just surprised you haven't accepted the inevitable yet.
No word on the new G-series yet? Wouldn't it be a real hoot if it had 61 keys.

Do you know something we don't?

If Roland does indeed back-pedal with their next totl arranger and makes only a 61 key version it will make Diki extremely upset. And we don't want Diki upset right?

Korg and Ketron will be our only recourse for totl 76 key arrangers! Oh the pain!
Best,
Mike

IanSorry, I don't quite get this... Why would you enquire at all if you already knew the answer?
Or is it perhaps you (like the rest of us) simply have an OPINION?
