Can a song be created whereby some tracks are played back in MIDI and other tracks in MP3?

How is the quality of MP3 playback sound on the PA800 compared with that of laptop playback?

Glenn yes you can play back both SMF & Mp3 in the dual sequencer.
The Mp3 card sounds fantastic for sure & on par with your laptop. Plus you can list them all in the "SONGBOOK" for instant playback.
