Re: Roland SA-300 Stereo Stage Amplifier - 04/16/0607:24 AM
Look at the features on the Roland: 4 channel mixer stereo built in effects 3 band eq anti feedback most importantly - 2 units, each weighing ~ 25 lbs!
The only unknown is how it sounds, which is why I posted, hoping someone had heard the Roland. 1200 is a lot less than 2K (PAS) (plus it's stereo, etc)

Dan O' I have been super pleased with the KP200S I bought from you a couple of years ago and I still smile about the price I paid. I don't use it often but when I do it WORKS. Best, Bebop

This topic went off on a few tangents, but I (and presumably GlenT) would still be interested if anybody has actually used the unit with a keyboard. For my own case I currently run two arranger keyboards and a wind controller through a mixer to two Behringer Truth monitors and a sub-woofer. I'm aware of the stereo piano effect from arranger keyboards hence my interest in the SA-300. The fact that it isn't "wide" stereo doesn't concern me as I am mostly an at home player with an audience of myself and occasionally my wife! I have further interest in this unit as from time to time I take my setup to another location (a local keyboard club meeting at members homes) and it would be nice to have speakers, mixer, equaliser etc in the one unit. Anybody out there with practical experience with this speaker setup? Keith
