Which arranger has the best e-group? - 10/22/00 06:26 AM
There are several e-groups devoted to Yamaha synths, such as Yamaha-PSR-songs and Yamaha-PSR-Styles. These were started by Bob Gelman a year and a day prior. They have developed into friendly sharing communities. Thousands of styles have become available through the files area of the styles group. It is not clear to me to what extent such communities are available for the synths of other manufacturers. Could those who know chime in?

Here is the link to the SOLTON CLUB E- GROUP
http://www.angelfire.com/ms/synthmuzic/index.html A great place with nice people to share and get help from other Solton users. It's very active also.

Hi,
There is the R-A-G group (Roland arranger Group) which I have found useful. The R-A-G website is at:
http://www.daytonamusic.com/rag/ where you can sign up. There is also a cool faq page and downloads section and loads more.

Wow, what a great group of responses. We have Korg, Solton, Roland and Yamaha represented. Anything for GEM or Technics or, dare I say, Casio? Who am I missing?

As a former member of the Solton Club, I had to cancel membership, because all messages came through email server. Being gone for 2 to 3 weeks, left me with a nightmare of email to sift through when I got back. Had it had a discussion board, it would have been terrific. I'm not sure, but don't think, then there was a way to turn off email posts and go only thru web as in "eGroup".
