USA / Europe compatibility

I plan to save a few bucks (approx. $1000 actually) and ask a friend on relocation to the US to bring me a brand new PA800 upon his return. People working abroad are allowed to bring tax free personal items up to a certain limit and he has some spare left for this.

My question is, will a 110 volt 60 Hz instrument, with a suitable adaptor work well with our local 220V 50 Hz grid? the adaptor will handle the voltage, but will the frequency cause interruptions? Has anyone from Europe experienced any issues with an arranger bought in the US?

The Pa800 has a switching power supply and will work both in the US and Europe without any need for an external adapter. The back of my Pa800 says:

100-240V 50/60Hz

US devices works just fine with a proper adapter to european 220v.
if the keyboard's adapter is already smart enough for 100/220v is even better.
