OT - Thanxgiving football games

Woah baby ! I just made some calls to see how my Alma Mater would do in this afternoon's "rival" game with ateam that they SHARE home field advantage with ..... and found out that my old HS has a perfect season so far !

10 & 0 ! Woah !

So, since the TurkyDay game doesn't count in the standings .... they are taking the day off to rest the players for the big championship game next weekend. This is awesome .... my daughter Katie never said a thing about being undefeated this year. How exciting ! I know it's only HS ball, but HEY ! It's MY high school ... and 3 of my kids too !

Whoo Hooo for the Archbishop Wood Vikings !

Rah, rah ..... and all that cheery, nerdy stuff. Now ....... on with dinner plans !
(My Christmas shopping is done, and the house (apt) is decked with boughs of holly already ! The only thing left to do is get a tree, and hang the stockings !

It isn't even my high school, and I follow them..If you got a newspaper you would know..I guess you didn't know they had a good team last year too...shame shame SHAME..

Benton, LA, HS is also gaving a great season. They are 11-1 and in the semifinals of the state playoffs. I've only got to see one game because they are always on Friday night and I'm always working.
Next year my youngest son, Max, will be playing basketball so I'll have to re-think my schedule because I'll want to see those games.
Now to watch Dallas clobber Detroit.

Hey Don, I even follow your old school..Benton finished second in the state polls in 1999 with a perfect 10-0 record. My old school[Wilson] had a good team in my wife's senior year, at 9-1 unfortuately a 1 point loss to a school that went 59-0 [Neshaminy]

woops Dallas is playing Miami, not Detroit. Oh well, we'll clobber them too.
Now to stay awake after all that turkey.

I'm not sure if the Cowboys could have handled Arch Bishop Wood high School today, maybe Benton High could have beaten Parcell's overated team...that could go for our overated Eagles too[just good , far from great....yet]..

Wow! Even the Lions roared this Thanksgiving. That's something to be thakful for in itself.

Yes, the Lions looked almost good. They still need to get it in the end zone, Jason Hanson can't score all their points.
