Tyros - HD

How can I determine how much free space is left on my Hard Drive in my Tyros?

Any Help is appreciated.

Hi Ed, the only way I know of confirming Tyros HD free space available is from your PC, with the Tyros connected via USB cable to the PC and booted up in USB-Storage Mode (HDD) mode (holding down the MusicFinder button while turning on the Tyros keyboard). The Tyros HD is then seen (in Windows "My Computer" as an external device. Double click on: 'My Computer' located on the the PC desktop. highlight (with your mouse) the icon that represents the Tyros HD and both HD capacity & free space available will appear on the left in details box. - Scott

Ed, You're very welcome. btw, if anybody knows if it's possible to check HD free space directly from the Tyros itself, please let us know. I have yet to find it. - Scott

To check free disk space on the Tyros:
- Press Song or Style
- Go to HD1
- Press View
- Press Property

FYI, the procedure also shows how much "free space" is on a floppy that you load into the Disk Drive.
