This is so close a slight push may be all it takes.....for the G1000 to slip into darkness and a distant memory that is!!!!! My only hope is that it happens before I slip into darkness and a distant memory. I am cautiously enthusiastic!!!

Wow! I guess that means there's going to be a new "best instrument in the world."

And then we'll all have to wait another 15 years until the moths fly out of.......oops

I've still got my G1000.........

It makes a handy dandy master controller for my studio (alongside the K2500S) and means I can still work if my G70 is still in the van or at a gig..........

Diki I am keeping my G1000[unless I get an offer I can't refuse]....the "Best keyboard in the world" to me.............

And buy the G70, the new " Best keyboard in the world" to all...

As you say the G1000 makes a great controller besides being a great arranger..I can not think of a better back up to the G70..

Hey CA boy, don't mess with Levittown or you will have to deal with all of Bucks County, and we're pretty tough.

Donny best wishes with you and your G70 and to Fran if he gets one. Just don't go listening to the E80 or anything else new that comes out soon or else another part exchange may be on the horizon

Hey, no cracks at Levittown It's a great place... Oddly enough I have MANY family members where Fran lives--right in Bucks County I've been to Levittown more times than I can remember. Hopefully before the winter hits I can make it back to visit the family.

Fran, good move on the G-70. I can understand your position on whether to sell the G-1000 as well. That board has brought you so much happiness over the years, and it still continues to do so. I look forward to your opinions on the G-70 in the future.

You should have plenty of styles to go for Donny with Frans back catalogue of Roland stuff.
