First downloads now available for Tyros 2

All Tyros 2 owners can now download from this site the following items:
1- a program to convert files created with the PSR 9000, 9000 pro or Tyros 1 to Tyros 2 format (this includes Custom Voices, Songs, Styles, Multi Pads and Registrations) (file size: 375 Kb)
2- a program called MegaEnhancer, to convert XG or GM midifiles into the Mega Voice format, to take advantage of this technology (file size: 15610 Kb).
3- A set of Scat Voices (file size: 2654 Kb)
4- A set of 30 wav. files (including loops) (file size: 12931 Kb).

I am especially curious to see how the wav. loops can be made to work together with the styles.

I have installed the Scat Voices (Live_Vocal) and they are very good, much better than the old Scat Voices of the 9000 pro, but not as good as the scat voices of my Fantom XR.
The wav loops are also good, but I still have to find a way to sync them with a style.

How come when I go to site it's show's( No premium downloads are available)

George you have to have registered in order to see the downloads. I've got a Tyros 2 on order and can't see anything until I actually put in the valid serial number when it arrives.

Can you also get to the page directly from the Tyros 2 using the direct Internet feature?

I am registered, but no downloads for me (in the Netherlands). Maybe tomorrow?

I am mad about how Yamaha are doing this. I wanted the MegaEnhancer to start converting my midi files so it would be ready when the T2 arrives.

Congratulations to all of you who have bought the tyros2. I am looking at buying one also.

I own a psr9000 and would like to convert all my samples and styles and try it on a tyros2 before buying just to to make sure
it is going to work properly.

Someone has tested the new MegaEnhancer software for Tyros2? It's OK?

Its going to cost you a £3000 UK to be able to download.

I just downloaded everything they were offering there and it was quick and easy. Hope the installs are too
