Well ....I spent some time with the XD9 DRUM REMIX feature . I took a James Taylor song and went from a Reggae style to Dance style all in real time while the sequence played .
This is a really cool tool .
When I play ....I like using arrangements .
However , I find that arrangements (styles)really can't handle a bridge of the song unless one of the variations can handle it .
I also find that a good midi sequence can make a song instantly more recoginized and have people dancing .
The drum remix adds a whole NEW demension to playing sequences ! It makes the sequence come alive and gives the player an edge to keep the crowd on it's feet ! smoothly !
