Pose,
You may want to put in a call to Steve Demming at Yamaha. He can probably provide you with a quick answer. The only batteries I changed were in the PSR-500 and 5700 and didn't have a problem. Not sure about the 9000.
Good Luck,
Gary

Hi Pose.
Donīt worry. 9000Pro (and PSR9000) doesnīt have any battery on board. All settings (panel memory, songs, voices, samplers....)and OS are stored in flash memory (RAM). If your 9000 has a HD, make a back-up of all settings.
Cheers.

Thanks Guys:
Thats very good news, I thought I had read about a 5 year battery,Probably was on the old 540 I had for a few weeks....
Gar: I havn't had much luck with getting through to Steve, I was using the telephone, to Yamaha's main number and would get a answer that he would call, problem with this he might not be able to call for a day or so, and each time I was away from the phone. Next time I'll use email.
Thanks to both of you, happy camper on this end.....Pose
