Leaving for a while

Leaving for a while - 12/14/05 08:03 PM

Synth friends,
Selling my gear and removing myself from music to pursue business interests. My addiction and constant draw to keyboards is taking away from where I really need to FOCUS. From time to time I'll be lurking and I thank all for the assistance I've received over the years. Best wishes.

zuki.... Whatever it is, I wish you the best ... keep in touch and let us know how you are doing....
But unless you desperately need the money, I would suggest you keep the gear and just play to 'get away' from everything else when you need to ...

I did that very thing when I was in my twenties. Ehhhh!! That was a wrong move for me. 25 years later I took it back up again and thinking, where would I be (musically) now, if I had just kept going. Even just a bit every week.
Here is a quote that came upon my desk today,“Don’t ever give up on a dream due to the amount of time it will take to achieve it. The time will pass anyway.” Russ Ebsen

Best of uck to you Zuki, and keep in mind there are friends around here.

I would keep an arranger if I was in your shoes, to remind me of the old times and to keep me calm at tense times.

Zuki:

Only you can make this call. A man has to do what a man has to do. Regardless, you will be missed. I wish you all the best in whatever you are getting ready to do. Like the rest of the "Zoners" here, please remember to drop in from time to time or lurk a little from the sidelines. Hope you will be able to hang on to your "board" cause music is such a great way to relieve stress and turn on your creative juices.

Regards, RICE (The Lone Arranger)

Zuki... Remember, one if the really great things about music, and all the many aspects of music, is that, unlike so many other things in life, you can always come back. Good luck.
