z5300s again - 07/30/05 10:31 AM

hey folks thanks for taking the time to answer. lve just ordered the z5500s.
l just plugged my guitar in to the z5300 sytem. lovely sound but doesnt seem to have huge volume, l guess it would sound real nice up close but would the sound get lost 10 or 12 feet away from the area your set up in and playing from, generally the places l play lm set up at the same level as the crowd,(no stage) l wonder if the audience down the floor are going to hear what l hear and will it the sound travel around the room any way well, once again thanks every one. regards vincent

Vincent,

I suspect that you are not properly set up, or have not really turned up the volume.

Lets look at the volume first. WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE SUBWOOFER, ALL THE VOLUME SIDERS MUST BE SET AT MAXIMUM. THE SUB SHOULD BE SET AT APPROXIMATELY 25 PERCENT OF MAXIMUM.

While the MAIN VOLUME may read maximum on the displays slider bar, you still have several BOOST LEVELS to go through before you are anywhere near max. Merely continue turning the volume knob until you get into the BOOST levels and you can go up to Boost 11, which will blow the windows out of your house.

TRY THIS FIRST and let us know what happens,

Gary
