goin' golfing ... - 05/17/07 02:25 PM

After my gig tomorrow night I head East for Cape Cod for 2 days of golf with my son and 14 of his friends ... on the way back on Sunday I stop at home, pick up my wife and another suitcase and head South to Staten Island NY where I will hook up with my wife's cousin's husband and join him and 12 others on a trip to Ocean City MD for 5 days ...
Have fun, and behave yourselves while I'm gone ... ...

Tony sounds like you're having no trouble adjusting to retirement Go get 'em! Hope you're playing New Seabury golf course. I don't play but I've visited there, it's a beautiful course.

Tony,

Come to Michigan we have lots of great golf here. I just got a new driver called the power pod. I've only played in my league so far so I haven't had guts enough to try it in competition. I need to get to the range. A warning to you, don't play golf with Don Mason. He'll take all your money.

Don would have to give me about 15 strokes per side ... good luck with the driver - is it that funkylooking 'Carizma' club?...

Come on down, Tony, it will be PAINLESS.
Tom, let me know if that driver is as good as my home-made ones!

Tony, looks like the knee is recovering nicely, and that's the best thing that can happen!

"Knock" 'em dead!

Have FUN!

Sadly, I got used to the cheap, county-subsidized, public courses in (Hilo) Hawaii. $25.00/month for 24/7 golf, only extra charge was the cart (why, oh why did we ever leave). Now, here in the golf/CC subdivision we live in, the initial fee for golf PRIVLIGES is $25k PLUS $590/month. A little too rich for my blood (especially given my game) so I bought a Wii video game (295.00 at Costco) and am having a ball playing in front of my rec room tv. Not much exercise but at least I can afford to eat out once in awhile.

Have fun, Tony.
