Midja;y Experiment - 10/28/05 12:07 PM

I am currently experimenting with the thought of replacing my Ketron SD1 with the Midjay and controller. I have borrowed HankB's Midjay to experiment.
I am now setting it up at home and hooking it to the Bose PAS. I will be temporarily controlling it either with the SD1 or Casio WK3000, maybe even PSR2000. They are all setting here!
On another thread, Tye asked this:

"Don,
Can you control arranger's function: eg- fills, variations, style changing straight from Midjay control panel, do they have seperate buttons for each. thanks!
Tye"

Tye, the Midjay does have dedicated buttons for these functions, and it is easy to access. Last time I tried I just sat the Midjay on top of the Casio and it was easy to use. Now, I will assign some of the functions to the 6-pedal footswitch.
Gotta go PLAY with it. Fortunately the golf course is closed this afternoon!
