A Love Remembered... PSR3000 Instrumental - 11/15/04 03:23 PM

Hi everyone,

Some of you may remember 'Forever Lost'... a piece performed on a newly purchased PSR3000 this summer. Earlier this month I had a chance to sit down at the keyboard in the still of night to produce another demo... which I've named 'A Love Remembered'.

Settled on a style called PopPianoBld for this one, minus piano... which I played from 1:15 onward. OTS voices (Sweet Oboe and Sweet Soprano Sax) were used to play the melody.

You can click either of the following links to stream the MP3:

Hi-fi (for broadband)

Lo-fi (for dial-up)

... or download the MP3 file from http://www.clubchops.com/forums/

Well, I hope you enjoy it.

Best wishes,
Rich

As I said in an earlier thread ...

a really BIG welcome to this group of sometimes (? ) opinionated, egotistical, hard-headed, hard hitting, dysfunctional individuals ... just like any other family, ... where you will get more help, advice, and support than anywhere else on the 'net ... UNLIKE some other families ...

..... from Kingston RI ?!?!? ... I'm just up the street in East Greenwich ... We also have Angelo (cam8neel) Micolli here from Providence ...how about some more background? ... what type of kb do you play, do you play professionally, etc.
again, welcome ...

Hey, Tony, thanks for your welcome.

Yes, I am down in Kingston. I have been a crappy guitar player for a while while a college student. I recently began to learn keyboard with a very cheap and "dysfunctional" Casio LK 55. Though a rookie player, I find myself falling so deeply in love with keyboard that I am in the market for a Tyros before Christmas.

Donny,
Thank you for your kind feedback. Really glad you enjoyed this... still lovin' that 3K.

Mike,
Many thanks!

Scott,
Thank you for the listen and feedback.
I think you're right, after nearly 5 months with the keyboard I'm still finding it ideal for my own musical needs.

Jerry,
Appreciate your feedback, thank you. It's great to be able to share what we create on our arranger keyboards with like-minded musicians.

Rick,
Good to hear from you... and I hope you're settling into the forum nicely. Thank you for your kind feedback.

Don,
Always appreciated, thank you.

Andrea,
Thank you kindly. Still amazes me that we can share our music with other music lovers around the world so easily, whereas in the past it would only have been relatives and a few friends.

Chico,
Thank you for your kind words... I'll definitely let you know when there's more!

Gary,
Thank you, kind Sir!

Mike,
Many thanks for the listen and kind message.

Eddie,
I'm honoured! Thanks again for your support and kind comments.

Tiger,
Thank you very much... and welcome to the forum! I hope you enjoy many happy years here.

Tony,
Cheers! I think we all have a special love we'll always remember... even if not romantic, a dear friend or family member we may have lost. All these feelings were in mind when working on the music.

Uncle Dave,
Thanks! Really enjoyed working on this one.

Russ,
Many thanks for your kind feedback, I appreciate it.

Thank you again guys... I'm very glad you enjoyed 'A Love Remembered'.

Best wishes,
Rich

Wow, this is a musical masterpiece! , you really did a great job there Richard !
An excellent choice of sounds, the Oboe and Soprano Sax sound really nice (I wish my PA-60 had such incredible sax & woodwind sounds..).
I hope you'll post another masterpiece soon ,

Re: A Love Remembered... PSR3000 Instrumental - 11/18/04 09:42 AM

I will not comment about the song myself, just let me tell you what happened:

It is nearly the end of a VERY laborious day here at the office (7.30 pm). Nearly mid-song, another guy lifted his head from his work and said: "That's nice music"

The song was playing in low volume in $5 supercrappy computer speakers AND we have 5 ft tall double glass separators between desks.

I think that says it all, Rich. Find a label, quick!!!!!
Thanks for sharing with us
I guess

Loved reading your story from the office, thank you for sharing that moment! Thanks also for your words of support.

Hi Rich,

LOVE your music, as always! Curiosity got the best of me and I just looked for that pop piano ballad style in my 3000 but couldn't find it. Did I miss it, or did you get it somewhere else?

Hi Carrie,

Many thanks for your nice comments!

If you look for a thread here called 'OTS for Tyros platinum styles' you'll actually find this style in the Tyros Premium Style Collection (see Armando's posts in that thread).

Cheers,
Rich
