Tyros Questions on Accompaniment section

Tyros Questions on Accompaniment section - 09/18/02 11:33 AM

What are the style/accompaniment controls/buttons on the new tyros?
i.e. start/stop, reset, panic, break, fillers, etc

Have the dance drums improved? One thing I can say having played the 9000 pro, no one beats their acoustic drums sets (especially the live funk set)

Alfred,
Page 34 of the Tyros manual explains these functions pretty well.

I haven't seen a panic button yet!
Tyros has 3 intro buttons, 3 endings, 4 main sections. There's a separate auto-fill button which when turned on will trigger one of the fills when moving between variations of the style. If off, you go straight from say variation 1 to 2 without the fill. You can also trigger any of the fills at any time by pressing that section button again whilst its playing. There is a break section too, tap tempo, metronome off/on, fade in/out, sync start, sync stop, start/stop.

Drum kits are similar to the 9000 pro with lots of nice Live! sets, including Arabic, Brush, Studio, Funk etc.. Dance kit I believe is as 9000 pro, plus the analog kit. The Tyros DSP's also feature new effects including simulated vinyl (crackles), scratching effects and lo-fi.
