keyboard case/bag for psr1k - 10/24/02 04:56 PM

hey all! where can i get hooked up for a decent bag that's can fit a stand also for a decent price? i don't need a hardshell, just something that'll make transportation easier and less harrowing. i'm also looking for a decent amp, say 75 to 150 watts. oh, and instrument cables. anyone out there got any they want to sell? any tips on how to get good ones cheap? thanks a ton! Zack: Assuming the PSR1000 is the same size
as the PSR2000,

Length - - - Depth - - - Height
38-5/16” x 15-11/16’ x 6- 5/16”
973 cm x 399 cm x 161 cm

then I highly recommend you purchase the lightweight yet well padded Kaces III Porter #7 case (with built in wheels & telescoping handle):
http://www.aceproducts.com/porter.html

I was initially concerned that the #7 size would be too tight for my Yamaha PSR2000, as the manufacter recommends size #9 for PSR boards. I tested the 2000 on the size #9 case, and though it certainly fits, there is quite a lot of slop room which would allow the KB to bounce around too much for my comfort. On the other hand, size #7 is really the much ‘better size’ for the 2000, allowing you to slip it into place for a perfect glove like fit (no kb movement at all). The fit is pleasantly snug, without being too tight either.
I checked the construction quality and found the stitching and workmanship to be top notch. It’s well padded inside and out and the convient keyboard stand rack and associated cord belt used to secure the stand are really a great feature.

I been using it regularly for over 7 months and it continues to perform well. - Scott
