PSR5700 -> KN6500 Styles

I have owned a Yamaha PSR5700 ever since they first came out and last year I purchased a KN6500. My question is to all you knowlegable people is:

Is there any way I can get the styles off from the PSR5700 to the KN6500 ?. The styles on the PSR5700 may be old and corny but I've got used to them. The trouble is that the 5700 was a bit of a technological cul-de-sac and the floppy disc format does not appear to be PC ( or anything else ) compatible, and the style elements dont appear to be transmitted on the midi port unless I've missed something.

I'm not very good at manually creating styles on the 6500 but if thats the only way ...

download the demo of the style converter from http://www.emc-software.de/taste/

a cheaper option would be the upgrade to the style conversion disk supplied with the 6500, which now includes Yamaha conversion with the others.

Check out the Yamaha Users Group, I'm pretty sure I've seen the 5700 presets in the past, though they may have had to take it off the site, in which case mail them and I'm sure someone can help out. A lot easier than having to save them all yourself.

If you happen to experience cookie problem
using the link abowe, just remove /taste ,
and the pages will load just fine.

The 5700 styles are still on the Yahoo Styles site. It's just the newer styles that Yamaha deleted.
