Power

What do you do in NYC if the power is off? Your gig is cancelled, no t.v., no internet. Be careful guys, some of you are too old to be having more kids!
Seriously, I hope the power is restored soon and that nobody suffers too much.

Thank God I was on vacation this week. Otherwise it would have taken me 6 hours to get home from my NYC job.

As it is we didn't have power for 6 hours. It was actually pretty nice. We spent 3 hours lounging around the pool, 1 hour hunting for candles, batteries, and flashlights, 1 hour trying to concoct some sort of dinner from 1/4 left overs, 1/4 things you can cook on a grill, and 1/2 of stuff that's been in the fridge for months which have turned into science experiments. And the last hour was spent watching the kids freak out going through withdrawals from the Internet and the computer.

All in all, I'd say it was just another normal summer day at home. hehehe

Powers back on, thank God.
