anticipation / frustration - 10/01/07 11:03 AM

That's me. My PSR-S900 has been sitting at our local FedEx location just a few miles away since 7:00 this am. But they won't allow me to pick it up and it's not scheduled for delivery until Wed !!! If anticipation is half the fun...I'm sure having a lot of fun right about now.

Wow.... understandable Frustration.
Hi Tim,

Think about it this way though, from Wednesday on, you'll have the rest of your life to enjoy playing it.

Ok, let us know when you've finallly got it in your hands (and fingers) and share your joy with us.

anticipation is great fun!
...or not?
when i received my keyboard, it came from uk to romania, with some big lorry, togheter with other stuff of course. i was waiting for thw truck all day long, at a warehouse, and finally, at about 6 pm when it arrived, i just found out they will be opening the truck only next day, at noon!
wow! ;(
but i survived the shock and next day i was the happiest.
so, yes, it is kinda fun!

Ad - wow that's quite a story. You are a man of great patience. I guess my wait will be short-lived. After all, I've waited a month since the order was placed.

Now that had to be a sight to behold! I have already downloaded the manual and printed it out in a loose-leaf notebook. I'm ready - bring it on!

Tim,

Getting a new keyboard is kinda' like going on a blind date when you were a teenager--ANTICIPATION!

Good Luck,

Gary

Gary, interesting analogy...yes the anticipation almost causes butterflies in my tummy! However, this will be no blind date...I know exactly what she looks like and she's a beauty.

I don't understand why UPS won't allow you to pick it up. If it's not already on the truck, you have an ID...ahhh too many rules!

Larry, FedEx says the box is in a container unit and the container will not be open until tommorrow or Wed. at the latest. I guess that's what happens when you go for the lowest price...it gets the lowest priority. O well, it won't be long.

Congrats with your newest toy, Tim.

Having it so near and yet so far away would give me constipation.

Hey Uncle Dave...maybe it's because the UPS guys are upset with the decision to merge with FedEx...it will become "FED UPS" - how appropo...he-he-he.

Tim,

I know where Fed Ex is, and since I live in your area, I'll pick it up for you, try it out for a few days, then deliver it to you

I just want to make sure it's working ok. for you.

Deal?
