I'm gonna celebrate later today by heading for the upper reaches of Chesapeake Bay and climbing aboard my sailboat and taking a short, liesurely cruise, then come home to a tall glass of Kickapoo Joy Juice. Thursday, it's off to sunny Mexico--man do I need a vacation!

On the SVPWorld forum, every day there is a display of "Today's Birthdays", which I have always appreciated seeing.
Pity there isn't a similar posting on our SZ, but also unfortunately there is no request for DOB when anyone registers

Wow! Thanks everyone for making this a very special day. I just checked the weather channel and things do not look good for Mexico, and as Tony said, it will likely hit there full blast on Friday or Saturday. If this is the case, we may have to cancel the trip. Hopefully, the storm will head east and we'll dodge the bullet, but it sure doesn't look that way. The projected trajectory is dead center on Cancun--not a good sign. We're keeping our fingers crossed.
