Has anybody ever come across this before because i cant get my head around this one.... I've got some midi files (with lyrics) that play perfectly well when playing them from the floppy disk, but when saving them to a folder in the X1's HD, the first line of the lyrics are totally deleted and throws it all out by 1 line.. REALLY WEIRD... It does not happen to all midi files, but only on various ones. I have 5 such songs so far.. can anyone even begin to explain this one???

Have you tried to download those midi songs to another NEW floppy and copy them to ur HD again?
if its not all the songs it sounds like those particular files may be corrupt somehow

HI, yes i have tried that, but to no avail. I could understand if the songs were faulty IF they played wrong using both floppy and HD, but the fact that it works fine on floppy and then goes wrong using the HD is really strange. Obviously it seems that nobody has come across this problem then...! Shame because i wanted a way round this...!
